Goldin Cleared, Salander Sued (Again)

Off and running this Monday morning. A couple of updates on stories I've been following on "Figure Painting":

After pulling a photograph from an exhibition of Nan Goldin's Thanksgiving series at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art last month, British authorities have determined that it does not, in fact, constitute child pornography.

Sotheby's sued Larry Salander and his embattled Salander-O'Reilly Galleries on Friday — one more name on a growing list of angry parties who claim Salander owes them a lot of money. Also, the New York Times' James Barron and Patrick McGeehan have a nice history of the dealer's woes here.
