A Side of Freud With Bacon
Francis Bacon's contemporary and fellow English figure painter, Lucian Freud, will join him in the November auctions in New York. Christie's is putting Freud's portrait of his daughter Isobel and her partner, Ib and Her Husband, on the block for an estimate of in excess of $15 million.
