America: A European Shopper's Paradise

This photo ran with a story in the New York Times about how the dollar is taking a pounding. The caption: "European tourists Nadia Arrafie and Jasmin Briz, from Barcelona, take advantage of the dollar's weakness to stock up purchases on a visit to New York."

It's like looking into a crystal ball and seeing auction salesrooms in New York this fall, only those buyers will be better manicured and won't be schleping their bounty away in plastic shopping bags.
