Motorcycles on Park Avenue

Tonight, Upper East Siders may have to put up with some noise unusual for their tony zip code when Aaron Young's Greeting Card, a piece of performance art, revs up at the Seventh Regiment Armory on Park Avenue.

10 motorcycles will zip around a black acrylic-coated floor to reveal the fluorescent paint beneath in a pattern inspired by a Jackson Pollock painting.

If you're not on the guest list for the happening, its remnants will be on view at the Armory through Sunday.
