Could a Weak Dollar Make for a Strong Auction Season?

Last May, the post-auction buzz was that the weak dollar (the strong euro) was driving a significant portion of sales. The Wall Street Journal captured it best when they ran the headline "Bargain Hunting in the U.S."

Look at what happened in the European markets today: The dollar hit a new low, with the value of the euro climbing to $1.3901 at one point in the day.

What's bad for Americans in Paris (or any other EU cities) may just be a boon to the auction business this November.
