Fashion Week Exclusive: Bergdorf's May Get "Posh"
Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham loves to shop at Bergdorf Goodman, and soon she may be able to pick up her brand new collection of dresses there.
At Bryant Park today, Bergdorf's president and C.E.O., Jim Goodman, told Portfolio.com that his company met with Beckham and is "taking a hard look at her line."
Beckham, as famous for her sky-high heels and skintight clothes as for her soccer star husband, has been flogging her new clothing line during Fashion Week. The pieces wholesale for $600 to $1,400.
Whether her notoriety will translate into sales dollars in Bergdorf's dress department is an open question, though. Her previous fashion foray, a line of jeans, reportedly racked up mixed results in stores.
