Scott Sternberg and Philip Crangi will be among the designers named as new members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America Wednesday. The new members will be feted at a soiree set for October (when all are back from the Paris ready-to-wear) to be held at Elie Tahari's new apartment in SoHo. ... The iconic "Mad Men" premieres Sunday night, so dash out a grab a pencil skirt and twin set from Michael Kors' show-inspired fall collection in preparation. ... Check out golfer Jim Furyk's togs at the PGA's U.S. Open. He's giving us a preview of the new Hawke & Co. golf line that will officially debut for spring 2009. ... Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima will be visiting the Smith Haven Mall on Long Island on Tuesday to relaunch the company's BioFit bra - the most popular bra in the chain's history.
