Bottega Veneta, YSL in Demand

Growth for the Gucci Group's Bottega Veneta and Yves Saint Laurent brands led the way for parent company PPR SA to post a 4.4 percent increase in sales for the second quarter.

The company posted $7.3 billion in sales versus $6.98 billion one year ago.

Sales of Gucci watches and wares from the company's CFAO division, which sells across Africa, were also cited.
