SCOOP! German-born, New York-based designer Kai Kuhne was brought to Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin by the organizers of the event, IMG, his spokeswoman confirmed.
Fashion show organizers will often pay to bring in designers (their staff and models) that will attract attention beyond what is normal. Kuhne's background and the fact that he's a working designer in New York makes him appeal to a whole slew of media types, in turn garnering press for Berlin Fashion Week over all.
