A New Fashion Inc. Season

This summer, attentive readers may have noticed the return of Fashion Inc. It hasn't made as splashy a comeback as, say, the maxi dress, but we do expect it to have a little more staying power.

Over the next several weeks, Fashion Inc. will be showcasing a number of guest bloggers, writers with serious experience in fashion journalism. This week brings Lisa Marsh, whose byline has appeared on several Portfolio.com features this year.

Lisa began her journalism career covering financial news for fashion industry bible Women's Wear Daily and its brother paper, DNR. She did the fashion and retail beat for the New York Post's business section and was a correspondent for "Full Frontal Fashion Daily" on MetroTV. Her work has also appeared in Glamour, Elle, People, Brides.com, Robb Report, City, The Australian and other publications. Not enough? Lisa is the author of a book on Calvin Klein, The House of Klein: Fashion, Controversy, and a Business Obsession; her new book, Marvin Traub: Like No Other Career will be published by Assouline in September.
