New York Fashion Week: Men's Edition

You'd never know it from most of the coverage, but the men's shows are also on this week. Brent went to John Varvatos and said John is on the uber-luxe trend that we've seen at the women's shows.

Marc Jacobs, at his Marc by Marc Jacobs show, was following another muse for men -- Thom Browne. If you haven't heard of Browne, he essentially became famous for putting men into tiny little suits that end above the ankle. Way above the ankle. (He didn't have room for me at his show this season, so I am afraid I don't have room for the photos from this season). But here is the Marc by Marc Jacobs take on the look.

It's cute, yes. But I am just not convinced that American men are ready to show their socks.
