Fashion East announces new designers

With London fashion week upon us, Fashion East, the not-for profit initiative to help emerging designers announces its line up. House of Holland, Louise Gray, JJ Hudson, aka Noki and David Saunders from David David. With support from Topshop the group show will be held once again at The Old Trumen Brewery. After launching big name talents like Hussein Chalayan, Clements Ribeiro, Preen, Matthew Williamson, and Maria Chen, the Brewery established sponsorship relationships that acknowledged the need to support the youngest-stage designers. It's all the brainchild of Fashion East director Lulu Kennedy. It seems most Fashion East designers go on to win Topshop's 'New Generation' sponsorship, helping to pay for private shows in suibsequent years. Some of these names include Blaak, Jonathan Saunders, Marios Schwab, House of Jazz, Emma Cook, Husam el Odeh and Richard Nicoll just to name a few. □
