Macys In NY, NJ To Stay Open 24 Hours

Macys has announced that seven of its busiest stores including the flagship on 34th Street in Manhattan, will stay open 24-hours a day From Friday the 21st of December to Christmas Eve.

The article in WWD quoted a Macy's East representative as saying "This is not a last-minute decision," in response to the notion of the extended hours being a desperation move, which an anonymous retail consultant quoted in the story said.
