Pointless Protests from Peta and Facebook

A Facebook Group has been created challenging Matthew Williamson for adopting looks from Ethiopia or Habesah or ... Most of the conversation -- about 10 posts in all -- seems more concerned with what to call it rather than with what Matthew put on the runway. But for those of you who like a good protest, never fear another Peta campaign is near. The New York Post reports that PETA has renamed The Olsen Twins, "The Trollsen Twins" in their quest to expose the girls' poor attitude towards animal rights. A poster campaign will feature the "fur fiends" - Mary-Kate ("Hairy Kate,") and Ashley ("Trashley") - with a tag line: "Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People." They've got a website too, devoted to dressing up the girls in furs dripping blood. Well, that will teach them. Come on people, it's almost 2008. Can't we all just grow up?
