Luxury and Ethics: Has Sienna Miller Gone Wrong?

Not content to pick on the luxury goods executives, the WWF-UK Deeper Luxury report also criticizes celebrities for not paying more attention to the environmental records of the companies whose products they endorse. Who is the worst offender? Well, if Tod's has the worst record . . . tods-large.jpg . . . then Sienna Miller must be the worst celebrity for appearing in the Tod's campaign this fall. Right? Sort of. The WWF-UK press release stops short of an all out attack on Miller saying:

Hollywood stars like Sienna Miller have shown that they have strong convictions about the environment and take personal action to combat damaging environmental impacts. The report challenges celebrities to make the same decisions about the products they endorse commercially as they would in their personal lives. WWF is launching a new "Star Charter" for celebrities to adopt, committing them to consider the environmental and social performance of the brands that they endorse.
But you know what they mean. □
