Paris Fashion Week: Alaia and Richemont

After buying his brand back from Prada Group last year, Azzeedine Alaia announced that he has taken a small investment from Compagnie Financiere Richemont, parent company to Chloe as well as jewlery brands like Cartier and Van Clef & Arpels. He says he says it is a partnership made personally with Richemont executive chairman Johann Rupert and says he'll continue to operate as usual -- he doesn't show during the collections and works to his own time frame. His clothes are having a Renaissance moment. Naomi wore one of his dresses to the Hermes show. naomi%20at%20hermes.jpg. □
