Miu Miu: When Is A Scoop Not A Scoop?

The New York Post announced yesterday (with that tantalizing "the Post has learned" caveat) that Miu Miu is going to move into the old Jil Sander space on 57th Street in New York. I thought that sounded a bit familiar so I went back to my Miu Miu post of July 12 and, sure enough, I had written the same thing a month ago. I can't remember where I learned it -- but as likely as not, it came from WWD. So either the Post doesn't know what makes a scoop a scoop, (or even makes news news) or, it is the surest sign yet that it is mid-August. Let the Polly Fillers fill in, at least I'm filing this from the beach.
