The Barney's Bidding War Might Actually Have a Victor Soon

It's seems like it's been going on for ages, doesn't it?

It also seems that Istithmar hasn't made Jones NY a better offer, considering the last offer from Japan's Fast Retailing was 950 million. Istithimar's offer of 942.3 million falls just a litte short, but considering Jones will have to pay 22.7 million dollar to Isithimar if they choose not to sell to the Dubai based private equity firm, the offer is actually much higher.

But never fear, the ink isn't dry yet. Fast Retailing has until Thursday 5 pm EST to make a new offer. Might I suggest something that is high enough to cover Jones fees to Isithimar?

I guess we'll have to wait until Thursday.
