Prada Says No Sale, IPO Still A Maybe

Prada Group spokesman Tomas Galli gave an interview to Bloomberg to deny the report that Prada was in talks with Richard Caring or any private equity buyers. Galli also said that the current value of Prada on the stock market would be between 3 and 3.5 billion euros, not 2.5 billion euro as the Times reported. So where'd the rumor come from? Probably some over-eager banker hoping to get Prada Group chairman Patrizio Bertelli to take his calls.
