Ungaro: We Know Who's Out, But Who's Up Next?

That Ungaro has been looking for a new designer is one of the worst kept secret in Paris. Management has approached several designers at competing houses including, I believe, Marchesa's Georgina Chapman. (WWD posted a blind item asking which French house she had been recruited for. Some thought that she was being recruited for Halston because Halston is partially owned by her boyfriend Harvey Weinstein. But that's stupid. I mean forget that Halston isn't a French house, Chapman already has to sleep with the guy, why would she work for him too? Fashionista thought it was Valentino, but I don't. The Val job is too big for her britches and the new owners would recognize that.)

But, whatever. Today it was announced that Ungaro's current designer, Peter Dundas, is leaving putting new urgency on the search. Who deserves the top spot at a house ready for its moment in the sun? Post your suggestions below.
