Clements Ribiero Out At Cacherel

WWD reports today that the London design team of Inacio Ribeiro and Suzanne Clements will no longer design collections for Cacharel. In a refreshing bit of honesty, the founder of Cacharel said, "The collections weren't selling very well. We'd strayed too far from the Cacharel spirit. We'd gone too designer. The stores were complaining. It was time for a change." Clements and Ribeiro had been at Cacharel for seven years and are being replaced with one of their former assistants, Esther Angula.
