If You’re Going to Toronto
Toronto will be the place to be for young entrepreneurs from June 20-22.
Building on the success of a previous young business leaders’ summit for entrepreneurs from the G-8 nations, this year the Canadian Youth Business Association will host a summit for young entrepreneurs from the G-20 developed and developing nations.
"Young entrepreneurs are an essential element in global economic growth," says Vivian Prokop, chief executive officer of CYBF, in a release. "By working together with other like-minded organizations from around the world, CYBF is contributing to the global discussion surrounding the challenges facing youth entrepreneurship, as well as the policies needed to support innovative young business owners."
Delegations from around the world will examine issues getting in the way of young entrepreneurs at the Young Entrepreneur Summit. The group will come up with a communiqué identifying the policy changes that are needed to encourage entrepreneurship.
Academics and government officials will also take part in the summit.
