Danica's New Deal
GoDaddy.com will remain Danica Patrick’s primary IndyCar sponsor into 2012, after the racing star signed a three-year deal with Andretti Autosport.
“Danica is a beautiful woman competing in a male-dominated sport. She’s passionate. She’s focused. She’s all about doing what it takes to win and we love that about her,” said GoDaddy CEO and founder Bob Parsons, never at a loss for words. “Not to mention she’s edgy, smokin’ hot and as tough as any competitor anywhere,” he said in statement.
Patrick, who captured her only checkered flag in April 2008 at the Japan 300, signed with GoDaddy and Andretti’s team in late 2006.
She appeared in her first GoDaddy Super Bowl commercial the next year and will be on set later this week filming next year’s spot, which is sure to grab national attention.
The 2010 GoDaddy.com No. 7 car, painted bright green and orange, was unveiled Monday morning in Times Square.
Rumors have swirled in recent months that Patrick will leave Indycar racing for Nascar after the three-year deal ends.
