44, Day 76: From Prague to North Korea

An ongoing log of the daily activities of the 44th president of the United States during his first 100 days:

Just hours before President Obama was scheduled to give a speech in Prague today about the importance of a world without nuclear weapons, North Korea launched a rocket over Japan into the Pacific Ocean. Obama said that North Korea was in violation of international rules and he called on the U.N. Security Council to punish the country, but a meeting by the council ended without any such action.
