The Final Four ... on Wall Street
"President Obama has made his prediction for the Final Four. He made his prediction today," Jay Leno cracked on the Tonight Show last night. "The only ones left standing after next week will be Citigroup, Chase, Bank of America, and Morgan Stanley."
How bad is the economy, Leno wondered. "The economy is so bad," he said, "on Sesame Street, they won't even talk about letters 'A', 'I', or 'G' anymore."
Over on Late Night, meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon took a shot not at financial services firms, but at those who tried to bail them out.
"Former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson is writing a book about his role in the Bush Administration during the economic crisis," Fallon said. "It's weird. The book starts with chapter 11."
