Obamanomics in Action
He's been president-elect for less than a day, and Barack Obama is already stimulating the economy!
How? By inspiring National Lampoon Inc. to buy BarackObamaJokes.com for an undisclosed sum. The company said acquiring the website was part of its strategy to "increase the size and strength of its National Lampoon Humor Network."
You can tell BarackObamaJokes.com will be witty and sophisticated because it joins National Lampoon Humor Network stablemates like DrunkOrNot.com, CollegeHangover.com, and the spelling-challenged WierdBuzz.com.
The company no longer publishes National Lampoon magazine, but said it does mine old issues for inspiration in creating TV programs that it sells to college stations.
