Music From Big Sink
The funeral dirges for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have quieted down a bit today, as Megan Barnett reports. Others, however, are continuing to sing the blues for the troubled mortgage giants, believing that a government bailout is inevitable.
But how about a classic rock ballad to tell the story of the shape we're in?
This video, using music from the Band's 1968 song "The Weight," has been cited on a number of economic blogs since it was posted on YouTube last weekend.
As one astute commentator asked on the Big Picture blog: "Anyone know if the price of Big Pink dropped too?"
