When Is 2 Percent More Than 20 Percent?

Hedge fund managers face a year when their relatively puny 2 percent management fees may exceed their big, swinging 20 percent performance fees for the first time in a long time.

Some hedge funds may even—gulp—have to give back some fees to their clients.
