Gianfranco Ferre's unexpected death from a brain hemorrhage yesterday in Milan poses a difficult dilemma for IT Holding, the publicly traded company that owns the Ferre brand.

They've also got to act quickly to name a replacement. The stock of the company had dropped 2.69 percent on the Milan bourse this morning.
