London traders are making more than their stateside counterparts -- a lot more.

A new study from Napier Scott Executive Search Ltd. found that U.K. trader salaries have risen as much as 22 percent, outpacing U.S. compensation by up to 50 percent.

Major European mergers, growth in hedge funds, and strong I.P.O.'s account for the passport-gathering difference. Favor sushi over fish and chips?

Bloomberg News reports that the Napier survey saw Asia's trader salaries increase as much as 25 percent.
