Spitzer
Okay, here's the glass half-full part. At least the governor can say he brought his own hooker from New York state to Washington. That shows a loyalty to New York products. Who can assail that?
The events of the past 24 hours are so bizarre that it's hard not to see the humor in them. Talking point #2: Spitzer can also argue that he never sought sexual favors from a lobbyist.
On a more serious note, I wonder:
Which aides knew, if any?
Who will be Spitzer's criminal lawyer and how will that effect a decision over whether or not to resign? The lawyer might argue that he needs to stay in office and leaving would constitute an admission of guilt?
Would the feds really prosecute Spitzer for a crime that it rarely if ever brings against individual johns?
How long has Client 9 been using that service and how long is his history with prostitutes?
When Will Hillary Clinton say something in front of the camera?
Will we ever see a picture of "Kristen"?
