Hedge Funds Get a New Man in Washington

The Hill's Jackie Kucinich notes that Rep. Richard Baker is leaving Congress to become the industry's pointman in Washington. Seems like a perfectly respectable choice. He's well liked and won't get shut out if there's a Democratic administration next year. It's certainly good for Baker who, as Kucinich notes, faced a tougher reelection battle next year. One more reason Rahm Emmanuel is always smiling.
