Hillary's Tears

As you probably know by now, Hillary Clinton seemed to shed a tear today when she was asked if the campaign ever gets to you. While she was answering, she seemed to choke up. Already pundits are calculating its effect. I think she'll lose tomorrow but i do think it was a sympathetic moment and not a Dukakis-in-a-helmet image. She was talking about wanting to make a difference and her love of country and she was applauded by the women around her when she spoke. For Hillary Haters, the moment will be seen as calculated and cunning but I don't think the undecided will see it that way. I thought she looked okay saying it. (My spouse, as I've noted, works for Clinton.) It struck me as the kind of eye-welling you see a lot of pols do, including George W. Bush.
