Greetings from Galt Gulch
Made it to Iowa last night and if anyone has any idea who's going to win the caucuses, their guess is as good as mine. Is Obama losing steam? Is Edwards really gaining? Tomorrow's Des Moines Register will have the last public poll of the cycle and that should help set the mood for the final 48 hours. Meanwhile on the Republican side, I keep wondering if the Ron Paul number is being underestimated. The pollsters still don't have a way of measuring people who just use cell phones as their primary phones and that would, I think, undercount the younger Obama demographic and the libertarian minded Paul voters who I think of as more transient, less technophobic and more likely just to have a cell phone. Maybe it's thinking that if there were a 2008 Galt Gulch it would only have cell phones.
