Pat Robertson for Rudy
Big endorsement for Rudy. Pat Robertson isn't all he used to be. The Christian Coalition, which robertson founded, is off its game, eclipsed by the Family Research Council. But the religious broadcaster's endorsement is a big deal for a campaign trying to find its way with social conservatives who might have some doubts about a candidate who supports legal abortion and who lived with gay men after he left his second wife. "I am very encouraged by Pat's support," Rudy Giuliani said in the statement that just got released by his campaign. "His confidence in me means a lot. His experience and advice will be a great asset to me and my campaign." For his part, Robertson praises Giuliani's "bipartisan" approach. When I think Red-and-Blue together, I think 700 Club.
