Fed Rate Cut?

Interesting piece in this morning's Wall Street Journal casting doubt on whether the Fed will cut rates this week. I kind of think they won't. They came to this summer's rate cute belatedly and under duress because of the credit crisis. Now, I think the Fed is looking at higher commodity and oil prices and a 14,000 Dow and thinking that, hey, inflation's the threat and what would be so wrong if we had some more foreclosures. I could be wrong but I think they're gonna take away the punch bowl.
