The Man at the Center of NASDAQ and Dubai
Now that Dubai is gobbling up another strategic U.S. asset--a stake in NASDAQ-- all eyes will once again be focused on Deputy Treasury Secretary Robert Kimmitt who managed the review process for the failed Dubai ports deal. He's also the man who vetted Dan Quayle for the 1988 George H.W. Bush presidential campaign, overlooking Quayle's Vietnam record or lack thereof. Hope it goes better this time. Will be interesting to see which lobbyists line up to guide the deal through.....
