The Gun Debate, again.
As the Virginia Tech tragedy unfolds, we know the debate over gun control will be reignited. Both sides are already gearing up. The Brady Campaign, named after maimed former White House Press Secretary Jim Brady, has made its case and the NRA can't be far behind. The thing to watch for is how Democrats handle this. There are many more pro-gun rights members of Congress after the last election. Will they be pushed towards more regulation on this? For the most part, Democrats have avoided the issue. Can they much longer? Will their more liberal base let them?
