Lawdy, Lawdy, Gundy's 40... and a Man!
It's Saturday morning, and Jack Flack is headed to Knoxville, TN, to join 110,000 hollerers for an afternoon of over-rated-but-still-better-than-any-other-conference SEC football. Now, Jack Flack usually sticks with business, and stays away from politics or sports. But in the spirit of today's festivities, he couldn't resist punctuating the weekend by pointing to the sensitive media relations skills Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy.
Angry outbursts are seldom productive at press conferences. But when the timing and subject are right, Gundy shows that a righteous, spit-launching tantrum can actually make a point. (Though, as with most speeches, it would be twice as good if it was half as long.)
And is that the sound of reporters clapping at the end, or just OSU AD staffers?
