The Power Zip Code

For the past two presidential elections, more donations have come from the 10021 zip code, on Manhattan's Upper East Side, than from anywhere else. Of its working population, 22 percent are in finance or real estate. And its donors are notable for divided loyalties. Ground zero for conflicted capitalists: between Park and Lexington avenues, from 71st to 73rd streets.
