A Shotgun Double
1974 Ardbeg, $20,000

Ardbeg’s Double Barrel offers scotch connoisseurs a rare opportunity to taste whiskey from two different 1974 casks. The distillery commissioned the company that makes cases for British shotgun manufacturer James Purdey & Sons to create a box. It’s made from hand-stitched bridle leather, and in addition to the two bottles, it contains eight sterling-silver cups, a notebook, and an Omas pen.

Well-Traveled Cognac
Delamain Le Voyage, $6,500

Delamain’s new Le Voyage cognac contains the house’s finest eaux-de-vies. But the spirit’s packaging may be even more special. Each of the 500 Baccarat crystal bottles comes in an accordion leather case that looks like a piece of luggage, complete with luggage tag.

A Very Happy Anniversary
Johnnie Walker Blue Label Anniversary Pack, $3,500

As any barfly can tell you, Johnnie Walker’s top-of-the-line whiskey is Blue Label. But a few years ago, the brand released an even rarer scotch for the 200th anniversary of John Walker’s birth. This special Blue Label was bottled in a square Baccarat decanter and packed in a blue Italian-leather box. Just 675 were created.

Tequila by the Case
Dos Lunas Grand Reserve, $2,500

Dos Lunas Grand Reserve is one of the oldest tequilas on the market. It has been aged for 10 years in oak casks. The extra-anejo spirit is bottled in a Baccarat decanter and comes in an ebonized-wood briefcase that locks with a silver key.

Half-Century Whiskey
55-year-old Macallan, $12,000

Vintage Macallan has become a favorite of collectors, and now there’s a new must-have whiskey. In January, the distillery is releasing 420 bottles of rare scotch in a decanter inspired by a 1910 perfume bottle and made by Lalique, complete with a leather-and-silk presentation box.
