Four years ago, Australian marketing executive Adam Garone devised a promising scheme: What if he spent a month growing a mustache for charity? Since the project started, Movember (mo is a slang term in Australia for mustache) has raised nearly $9 million to support cancer research. This year, the project comes stateside.
