From 1993 to 1994, Mr. Jacobs served as a financial consultant to several firms and universities. Mr. Jacobs was founder, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and a director of Financial Security Assurance, a monoline bond insurer, from 1985 to 1993 and, prior to 1985, Mr. Jacobs was the President and Managing General Partner of S&B Insurance Services Company.
