V.R. Mehta

Overview

Mr. Mehta holds a B.E. (Honours) degree from the University of Rajasthan. Mr. Mehta has considerable financial and project evaluation expertise, both at national and international levels. Mr. Mehta worked as a senior expert for the Asian Development Bank and earlier held a senior level position with the Indian Federal Ministries of Railways, Shipping and Transport. He played a key role in financial revamping and rationalization processes of major ports in India and has participated in important diplomatic missions and has represented India in International Conferences. Mr. Mehta is on the Board of other companies in his individual capacity or a nominee of financial institutions or foreign companies. Mr. Mehta joined our Board in June 1998 as a Financial Institutions nominee and is now on the Board in his individual capacity since September 2005.
