Overview
Timothy B. Challand is President, Technology. Mr. Challand was appointed to his current position in August 2007. Mr. Challand has nearly 40 years of experience in a number of roles associated with the refining, gas processing and petrochemical industries. He is currently responsible for overseeing the company's portfolio of intellectual property assets. He is also charged with profitably growing this sector of KBR's business through the acquisition and/or development of new technologies and applications across the entire hydrocarbon value chain. During Mr. Challand's 20 years at KBR, his responsibilities have included process management, process technology acquisition and licensing, product development and commercialization, and new business start-up. Mr. Challand holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, California, Quebec, Canada and the U.K. He is also a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
