Thomas Georgens

Overview

Thomas Georgens joined Network Appliance in October 2005 and has served as the Company's executive vice president of product operations since January 2007. From October 2005 to January 2007, he served as the Company's executive vice president and general manager of enterprise storage systems. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Georgens served in various capacities from 1996 to 2005, including president, chief executive officer, vice president and general manager and a director of LSI Logic. Mr. Georgens graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer and systems engineering, and also holds an M.B.A. from Babson College. On January 30, 2008, the Company announced the promotion of Thomas Georgens, formerly the Company's Executive Vice President, Product Operations as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, effective on January 29, 2008. On March 10, 2008, the Company issued a press release announcing that Tom Georgens has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company.
