THOMAS E. HOAGLIN, age 55, has served as Chief Executive Officer and President for both Huntington and The Huntington National Bank since February 2001, and as Chairman of the Board for both since August 2001. Prior to joining Huntington, Mr. Hoaglin served as Vice Chairman of AmSouth Bancorporation from February 2000 to August 2000. Mr. Hoaglin served as an officer in various positions during his 26 year career at Bank One Corporation until March 1999, including, as Executive Vice President of Private Banking from October 1998 to March 1999, as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Banc One Services Corp. from June 1997 to October 1998, as Chairman of Project One from January 1996 to December 1998, as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bank One Ohio Corporation from 1992 to 1995, and as President and Chief Operating Officer of Bank One Texas from 1989 to 1992. Thomas Hoaglin, Huntington's chairman and chief executive officer, will assume the role of president effective December 31, 2007.
