Steven Rattner, age 55, has been a director of IAC since April 2004. He is a Managing Principal of Quadrangle Group LLC, a private investment firm. Prior to the formation of Quadrangle in March 2000, Mr. Rattner served as Deputy Chairman and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Lazard Freres & Co. LLC, which he joined as a General Partner in 1989 and where he founded the firm's Media and Communications Group. Prior to joining Lazard Freres & Co. LLC, Mr. Rattner was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he also founded the firm's Communications Group. Mr. Rattner also currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Protection One, Inc. Mr. Rattner has served many philanthropic organizations. He is a former Chairman of thirteen.org (Channels 13 and 21, New York's public television stations), a Fellow of Brown University, a former Trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and an honorary trustee of the Brookings Institution.
