Mr. Tanger joined the Company's predecessor in 1986 and is the son of Stanley K. Tanger. Mr. Tanger is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Stanford University School of Business Executive Program. Effective January 1, 2009, Steven B. Tanger, age 59, the Company's President and Chief Operating Officer since January 1995, will become the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer.
