Stan A. Askren

Overview

Stan A. Askren, age 47, has been a Director of the Corporation since 2003. Mr. Askren has also been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation since 2004 and the President of the Corporation since 2003. Prior to that, he was an Executive Vice President of the Corporation from 2001 to 2003 and President of Allsteel Inc. from 1999 to 2003. Stan A. Askren, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, HNI Corporation, has assumed the position of acting Chief Financial Officer on an interim basis pending the appointment of a successor Chief Financial Officer. On August 25, 2008, concurrently with the appointment of Mr. Tjaden, Stan A. Askren will cease to be acting Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. Mr. Askren remains the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation.
